Born 15 January 1940.

In 1962 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics Department of Tsulukidze Kutaisi Pedagogical Institute. In 1965-2010 he taught Physics at the Komarov Maths School in Tbilisi.

Together with Eter Lazarashvili, Giorgi Gedenidze is the author of Physics coursebooks for schools from the 7^th to 12^th graders, which are approved by the Ministry of Education (Intelekti Publishers).
