Levan Bolkvadze
Levan Bokvadze (1924-1986) was arrested at the age of 21 and exiled into the Soviet camp where he spent eight years followed by a three-year settlement sentence. At the time he met Aleksandr  Solzhenitsyn, whose several characters bear clear resemblance to Levan Bolkvadze.

Being a philologist by education affected his writing because there is a certain standard of refinement reached by those writers who treat language not as a mere means of expression but the object of study. THE STORY OF A BOY WHO WAS IN A TALE is his only published book.
