Who is the book for? Among others this question is also asked in the new edition of Besik Kharanauli’s poems. He provides the following answer: "It is for the doubting people, those who feel the soil with the soles of their feet and listen to the air with the sandals of their ears. The book is for you and me, my reader!"

In a sense the book is a legacy of the author’s 50 years’ work but is new as well. As usual, an idea, a thought is the main character of his poetry. As for the novelty, the author paraphrased his own earlier saying "I am one tear more than you’ to ‘I am one wrinkle more than you, my reader!"
