Images and motifs characteristic for symbolism are the chief themes for Valerian Gaprindashvili, the prominent member of the Blue Horn group of the 1910s.
"The tender nature of his poetry is further proved by his overpowering desire to discover a grain of beautiful or essential in seemingly mundane, unattractive and indiscernible at first sight. It is such approach that determined the extraordinariness of his poetry, which withstood the test of time", Tamaz Vasadze, the compiler of the book says in his introduction.
