The collection of poems belongs to the well-known film director Liana Eliava. The poetry was written between 1993-2013 in Tbilisi, Moscow and Helsinki, where she spent those twenty years.

Despite such wide distances and differences between the Caucasus and Scandinavia, the poems are deeply national in their mood and character. Selected form three previous publications (The Caucasian Mystery 1997; The Century Frontier 2002 and The Love Mystery 2008), the poems are grouped chronologically and thematically: Homeland, Love, Destiny, Caucasian Mystery, Timeless Distance, My Scandinavia and the Wind Poem.
