The artistic peculiarity of Simon Chikovani’s poetry lies not so much in the outward, superficial effect of the word but in the power to pull you down into its depths in order to get familiar with his rich intellectual world and colourful poetic images. The leading role is ascribed to the inner organization of his verse, its structure and distinctiveness of the imagery system.
