Born in Tbilisi in 1979.

He attained a Master's Degree in Sociology from the Ivane Javakhishvili State University . He also has a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. His written works were first published in the Georgian Literary Periodical edition in 2000 and he has since been published in a variety of magazines and newspapers. Since 2002, he has had five different books published (one novel and four collective stories). Most recently, a collection of the best of his old works, along with some new stories were published. He has been nominated in and won a number of prestigious literary awards. His works have also been translated and published in Russian.
