Leri Alimonaki
Born 17 October 1940.
In 1966 he graduated from the Technological Department of Georgian Agrarian University.
He is the author of the following books: Varinka Tsereteli (documentary fiction), Essays on Literature, The Sunday Masses (a biographical novel about Terenti Graneli), The Time of Silence (poetry), Graneli’s Shadow (memoirs), Written in the Candlelight (political essays), Careful, the Time is Up, Eliazar’s Return (novel), The Seven-Day Chronicle (memoirs and essays).
His translations include: Dao De Jing (Ancient Chinese Religious-Philosophical Texts) and Upanishads (Ancient Hindu Religious-Philosophic Texts).
He received the prize of the Georgian Writers’ Union and Ivane Machabeli Prize.
