It is thanks to Leri Alimonaki that the name of Terenti Graneli, the great poet perished in the Soviet purges, was saved for the posterity. He searched through various archives, public and family libraries in an attempt to discover the poems of the writer whose masterpieces were doomed to obscurity. Likewise, he collected memoires of those who had known Terenti Graneli personally, which enabled him to give us a complete portrait of the poet and an individual.

The present book describes those problems the author had to face in his effort to overcome the difficulties in his tireless stifle to revive the great poet’s name.
