In his introduction Andro Buachidze says: "Translating the poems presented in the collection accompanied the process of getting to know the world poetry. I translated everything that impressed me, though some of them were commissioned. However, my choice has never been restricted by specific time or period or any other external factor. Primarily guided by the emotional impact of a poem, I am invariably attracted to a poem that effortlessly finds its way into me".
