The Issa Valley
- THE NOBEL PRIZE WINNERS
Translated from Polish by Natela Gavashvili
The Georgian translation of the novel was published in 2011 when Czesław Miłosz would turn 100. The Polish poet, prose writer, translator and diplomat was awarded the 1980 Nobel Prize for Literature. Born in Lithuania, he lived in Poland and in many other countries, but once he said that the landscapes and perhaps the spirits of Lithuania had never abandoned him.
