The King Bows and Kills
- THE NOBEL PRIZE WINNERS
Translated from German by Nana Gogolashvili
The German-Romanian novelist, essayist and poet, Herta Müller received the 2009 Nobel Prize in Literature as the author "who, with the concentration of poetry and prose, depicts the landscape of the dispossessed".
Her autobiographical novel dwells on the problems of ethnic minorities, the split identities of émigrés, the mass alienation under dictatorial regimes – all against the background of one family. The publication includes Levan Tsagareli’s article From Dictatorship to the Nobel Prize.
